2022 Tractor Parade Recap

This past Saturday, the 10th Annual Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade was held in the Village of Greenwich to a record crowd and 70 registered participants! New in 2022 was Selfies with Santa, where children met Santa prior to the parade, and a beer and wine tent featuring three of our members.

Many thanks to Grand Marshall Betsy Foote and judges Carrie Buell, Ray Sans, and Emily Van Driel for a job well done.

The Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade Committee of the Greenwich Chamber works for months, starting in July, to make this event happen. Our parade is an endeavor that the community enjoys greatly and it came down to our hard-working volunteers to ensure it was more successful than years past.

Sponsors were key to providing the resources necessary to hold the parade! Horse drawn wagon rides, signage, portable restrooms, supplies, music and entertainment, advertising, and more are credited to the financial and in-kind services we received from 60 sponsors.

Our website and social media were buzzing. GreenwichTractorParade.com received between 1,000 and 5,000 visitors per day in the week leading up to parade day. The Facebook page was viewed by 132,400 visitors and posts, including those of sponsors, were viewed by upwards of 40,000 people.

We would like to thank the Village of Greenwich Department of Public Works, the Cambridge-Greenwich Police Department, Greenwich Fire Department, Middle Falls Fire Department, Easton Volunteer Fire Company, Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad, Washington County Sheriff's Department, and the New York State Police for their time and service to our community.

In conclusion, the Greenwich Chamber is incredibly proud of the Tractor Parade having another successful year! Our chamber members, volunteers, and sponsors were crucial and we thank you.
