The Greater Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit membership
organization with over 170 member businesses and organizations in the Greenwich
area, fully supports the Village of Greenwich’s pursuit of the New York Main Street
Grant program. Funding through this program will assist Greenwich in establishing a vision for the Village.
The New York Main Street Grant will benefit residents, private businesses, and
public entities within the Village by revitalizing the downtown area through
enhancing physical and visual aspects of Main Street while protecting the Village’s
historic character. With funds for improving the faces and outdoor features of
businesses, this will greatly improve the attraction of new businesses, residents, and visitors to the Village of Greenwich.
In the past, the Chamber has successfully applied for the New York Main Street
Grant as well as supported the Village’s endeavors with this program.
The members and Board of Directors of the Greater Greenwich Chamber of
Commerce sincerely appreciate the support that the Village of Greenwich has given
in the past and would like to endorse the submission of this application.
